UCA’s History


UC Architects Pty Ltd was founded by Rob Porter in 2011 upon reaching a 30 year milestone in his Telecommunications career. He specialised in large complex enterprise voice networks, contact centres and their associated technologies. During his global tenure working for large multinational vendors and their respective integrators, Rob identified a significant yet many times unrealised void in the delivery process.

For companies implementing innovative technology within their business, keeping the day-to-day business running was always a challenge. In addition, large Vendors, Integrators & Global Enterprise customers constantly struggled with their own internal organisations and the disjointed processes required to coordinate a positive outcome.

He realised, that even when the best people in the industry were gathered to implement a complex solution, each had the need to be focused on their own respective task at hand, with little accountability for the overall outcome.

In recent years, UCA have been active with independent Contact Centre strategy reviews, RFP creation, Vendor Selection, negotiating vendor and carrier contracts, program management, reviewing and recommending IT Support structures, Quality Assuring new vendor products including custom delivery of training, to name a few….

Expectation must be agreed, communicated and delivered every time. This is our mandate. Put simply we provide Design, Management and Training services for Unified Communications & Contact Centre Technology.
